Car overturned and flew into the lot, 2 injured

A car attempting to park in the Atatürk neighborhood of Balıkesir's Erdek district overturned after the driver lost control and crashed into a roadside lot. Two people in the car survived the accident with minor injuries.

The accident occurred on İnönü Street in the Atatürk neighborhood of the Erdek district on Thursday afternoon, July 24. According to reports, the car with license plate 35 NR 662 veered into a roadside lot and overturned after the driver lost control during a parking maneuver.

The two occupants of the vehicle managed to escape on their own after the accident. Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene after witnesses alerted them.

After receiving initial treatment at the scene by paramedics, the injured were taken to Erdek State Hospital. Their condition is reported to be good and their injuries are not life-threatening.
