A parked vehicle burst into flames in Çorum

The car with the registration number 06 EDH 523, belonging to FD, parked in front of the Aşağı Fındıklı village cemetery in Çorum's Sungurlu district, suddenly caught fire.

Nearby residents noticed the dense smoke and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Sungurlu Municipality fire department and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

Thanks to the rapid response of firefighters, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. However, the car was completely destroyed and rendered unusable. A technical investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
