Reha Tanör was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Galatasaray High School and Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He is one of the pioneering entrepreneurs in Türkiye's agro-industry. He has served as a lecturer at Galatasaray and Marmara Universities. He served as Chief Advisor at Doğuş Holding and Chairman of the Board of Garanti BBVA Investment Partnership Inc. His works include "Turkish Capital Markets," "Financial Crisis and Capital Markets," "Nefise's Flowers," "The Economy Has a Name," "Restaurants and Tales," "Don't Ask for Steamed Sea Bass, But," "Life Is Like Walking in the Rain," and "With the Woman Playing the Oud," which I haven't read yet.
