National boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu is in the finals of the World Boxing Championship

Fenerbahçe Club athlete Buse Naz Çakıroğlu, who has previously won one gold and two silver medals at the world championships, has earned her fourth world final appearance. She will face Kazakhstan's Alua Balkibekova, a reigning world and Asian champion, tomorrow at 8:00 PM Turkish time.

Buse Naz, who had previously reached 2 finals in the Olympics and 4 in the European championships, increased the number of finals in major organizations to 10.

Buse Naz Çakıroğlu said, "I want to return home happy after winning a gold medal." In a statement after the match, she expressed her joy and hoped to win the gold medal tomorrow. Emphasizing that there are tough matches in every weight class, Buse Naz said, "Even an athlete with technical deficiencies wants to fight and win a medal. It was a very difficult but beautiful match. Hopefully, Büşra and I want to win the gold medal and go home."

When reminded that she would be competing in the finals of major events for the 10th time, Buse Naz said, "Let's not get silver this time, I'm tired of silver. Now it's going to be gold, we'll finish it off beautifully."

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hamza Yerlikaya and Turkish Boxing Federation President Suat Hekimoğlu also attended the match. Buse Naz's teammates, especially Busenaz Sürmeneli, supported the national athlete from the stands.
