Final expulsion request for two members of the MHP

Detention warrants were issued for two MHP members in the operation targeting the CHP Bayrampaşa Municipality.

Nationalist Movement Party Istanbul Provincial Executive Board Member Yasin Sönmez and Istanbul Bayrampaşa District Member Emin Sönmez were detained as part of the investigation.

The MHP referred the two individuals to disciplinary proceedings, requesting their permanent expulsion.

The statement came from MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın.

Yalçın, sharing a post on his social media account, said, "Milliçi Hareket Partisi İstanbul Provincial Executive Board Member Yasin Sönmez and İstanbul Bayrampaşa District Member Emin Sönmez, who were detained in the corruption and bribery operation launched against the Bayrampaşa Municipality, have been referred to the disciplinary board as a precaution with a request for permanent expulsion. The individuals mentioned have no longer had any affiliation with our party. This is announced to the public."
