As a special gift from President Tahir Büyükakın, successful students who achieved perfect exam scores and ranked in the top 1,000 were hosted at the Kerpe and Kumcağız Youth and Sports Camps in Kandıra. These successful young people, along with their families, found the opportunity to both relax and recharge for the new semester at these unique camps, where blue and green mingle.

Blue Break for Exam Stress

This year's camp program, held in four separate periods, took place on July 25-27, August 12-14, August 19-21, and August 22-24. All needs were met by the Metropolitan Municipality throughout the camp. Students and their families relaxed their exam fatigue by swimming in the clear waters of Kandıra.

A Shower of Gratitude from Young People and Families

Students leaving the camp with great joy expressed their feelings. LGS top scorer Fatıma Zehra Yavaş said, "My family and I are having a wonderful time. Thank you so much to those who invited us here." Yiğit Ege Demir, another LGS top scorer, said, "I'm grateful to my family for making me feel this proud, and to President Tahir Büyükakın for these opportunities."

Furkan Ege Torlak, who placed 19th in Turkey on the YKS exam, thanked the municipality, saying, "After the exam marathon, being in touch with nature, right on the seafront, was a great morale boost." The students' parents also expressed their satisfaction. Doğa Özdoğan's father, Enver Özdoğan, said that his children received great support from the municipal libraries and that the gift of a camp following this success made them very happy.

This special camp program once again demonstrated the importance Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality attaches to education and its support for young people.
