Attack with a pitbull on police officers responding to a report: 2 police officers injured

Police teams were dispatched to the address on Pınarbaşı Street in İvazpaşa Neighborhood of Osmangazi district upon a report that HA was using violence against his wife.

When police arrived at the house and tried to take the woman and her child, HA became enraged and unleashed his pit bull on the officers. The dog's attack injured one police officer in the leg. HA resisted arrest, wounding another officer in the arm.

While two police officers injured in the incident were taken to hospital, the woman and child victims of violence were taken under protection.

Following processing at the police station, suspect HA was referred to the courthouse for arrest on charges of "resisting an officer and damaging property." The court arrested HA and sent him to prison.
