Car and motorcycle collided in Fethiye: 1 dead, 2 injured

The accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at the Çiftlik Işıklı intersection on the Fethiye ring road. According to reports, a car with license plate 74 AAB 023, traveling from Çiftlik towards the hotels, collided with a motorcycle with license plate 45 AIZ 424, traveling in the Muğla-Fethiye direction.

While the motorcyclist was thrown onto the road in the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notice from those around.

Paramedics determined that the motorcyclist, Gökdeniz Erdem, died at the scene of the accident. The two injured people in the car were taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving first aid. Erdem's body was sent to the hospital morgue after the prosecutor's examination.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
