High school student dies after being hit by truck in Cizre

Trying to cross the road at the entrance of Kurumcu village in Şırnak’s Cizre district, high school student Mazhar Yakşi (17) was seriously injured after being hit by a truck.

The incident was investigated by gendarmerie and medical teams dispatched to the area upon notification. Upon examination by medical personnel, it was determined that Yakşi had died at the scene.

An investigation has been launched into the accident. Yakşi's body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy procedures. While no official statement has been made regarding the truck driver who caused the accident, authorities announced that an investigation has been launched into the incident.
