Gülay Lokumcu, wife of Metin Lokumcu, passed away!

Gülay Lokumcu, the wife of retired teacher Metin Lokumcu, who lost her life after being exposed to intense tear gas by the police during the anti-HES protests held in Artvin 13 years ago during the visit of the then-Prime Minister, AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has passed away.

Gülay Lokumcu's funeral will be held today after the noon prayer at Kemalpaşa Mosque and she will be buried next to Metin Lokumcu's grave in Akdere village.
