At the sailing festival, hundreds of sailors and dozens of boats competed with the wind on challenging courses.

Türkiye's largest sailing festival, the TAYK-Eker Olympos Regatta, was held for the 13th time in Istanbul from August 8-17, 2025, with the motto "Catch the Wind." The event, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Offshore Racing Club (TAYK), the Turkish Sailing Federation, and Eker Dairy Products, achieved remarkable success in terms of both the number of participants and visibility.
Hundreds of sailors and dozens of boats competed fiercely during the 10-day festival. The races, organized in five different categories: J70, J70 Match Race, IOM, Moving Keel Categories, and Yacht Classes, contributed to the popularization of sailing. Eleven teams competed in the J70 class, 15 matches with six boats in the J70 Match Race, approximately 210 boats in the Moving Keel, and 32 boats in the final leg. The 35 km final course on the Istanbul Bosphorus offered breathtaking moments to numerous spectators. A total of five live broadcasts were made: two J70s, two J70 Match Races, and one Bosphorus Race. The broadcasts met with the audience for 18 hours, 30 minutes, and 17 seconds.
Grand finale: Victory on the BosphorusIn the grand finale held on the Bosphorus course on August 17th, classes IRC0, IRC1, IRC2, IRC3, and IRC4 competed in strong winds and currents. Fenerbahçe Doğuş, which earned the most points in the overall classification, won the grand trophy of the 13th TAYK-Eker Olympos Regatta.
