A literary wind will blow in Torbalı: Autumn Book Days begins!

Organized by the Torbalı Municipality and taking place for the first time this year, the "Torbalı Fall Book Days" will bring together book lovers at Ertan Ünver Millet Park from September 1–6, 2025. The event will feature talks, book signings, and various cultural events.

Latife Tekin will be the guest of honor

This year's guest of honor at Torbalı Fall Book Days will be Latife Tekin, a prominent figure in Turkish literature. The event will cover a wide range of topics, from literature and agriculture to politics and history.

PROGRAM SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES

Torbalı Municipality will bring citizens together with authors and explore literature with a program that will appeal to book lovers of all ages. A "Youth Meeting" will be held on Friday, September 5th.

INVITATION FROM MAYOR DEMİR

Torbalı Mayor Övünç Demir invited residents to the events, saying, “As Torbalı, we believe in the unifying power of culture and art. With this understanding, the Torbalı Fall Book Days, which we have launched from September 1st to 6th, will transform our district into a melting pot of literature and thought. Over the course of six days, we will bring together esteemed writers, academics, politicians, journalists, artists, and young intellectuals. We look forward to welcoming all our fellow citizens to our events, which will be packed with talks, book signings, and special programs.”
