Cereal prices increase in Izmir

The Izmir Chamber of Pita and Crisp Manufacturers and Similar Tradesmen and Craftsmen requested a price increase in July, prompting a meeting of the Izmir Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen's Food Commission. The commission evaluated the request and sent it to the Ministry of Trade for approval. The Ministry approved the price increase. The price of crispbread, which had been selling for 15 lira, was reduced to 20 lira.
The new price on cereal will be valid from September 3.
