Sport starts with a hockey stick: Penza hockey school to buy almost a million rubles for equipment

In Penza, support for children's and youth sports continues, especially given the success of local students in hockey, which traditionally occupies a special place in the region's sports life.
The state procurement portal has received information about a new procurement related to the provision of the State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education of the Penza Region "Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Hockey". The institution plans to purchase hockey equipment for the amount of 923,295 rubles.
The peculiarity of this purchase is that it is carried out without a competition - according to the "single source" scheme. This means that the administration of the sports school has already identified a supplier with whom, obviously, there is already a positive experience of cooperation, or who can quickly and accurately fulfill the terms of the contract. The purchase will be made at the address: Penza, Okruzhnaya Street, 163 - there is an ice arena "Diesel Arena" where young hockey players train.
According to the published specification, the school will receive a large amount of professional equipment as part of the purchase. The list includes 18 SHER-WOOD REKKER 90 hockey sticks for a total of 270,000 rubles, which indicates the seriousness of the preparation and focus on high-class equipment. In addition to them, the application also includes True, Warrior, Easton hockey sticks, including specialized goalkeeper sticks. Helmets, chest protectors, gloves, goalkeeper glove and blockers, hockey shorts are also purchased. There are even individual items: a Goalie PRO goalkeeper helmet (costing 39,295 rubles) and a True HZRDUS PX hockey stick for 20,000 rubles.
It is noteworthy that the purchase is designed for quick implementation: according to the terms of the contract, the supplier is obliged to transfer the goods within 10 calendar days after signing the contract. The sports school, in turn, undertakes to make payment within 7 working days after receiving the goods. The school took a responsible approach to checking the quality of the equipment - deficiencies in quality and assortment must be identified no later than one working day from the date of delivery.
The fact of conducting a purchase from a single source often raises questions from the public, because it limits competition and eliminates the possibility of reducing the price during the bidding. However, in the field of sports - especially when it comes to purchasing specific and high-quality equipment for the Olympic reserve - this approach can be justified. It is important that young athletes receive equipment without delays and can fully prepare for competitions without experiencing a shortage of basic equipment.
A purchase of almost a million rubles is not a luxury, but an investment in the region's sports potential. And although in this case the tender was held without an open competition, the main thing is that the result meets expectations, and the young hockey players receive high-quality equipment that will help them grow, win and glorify the Penza Region.
