Forward Ilya Karpushin spoke about the final in which Traktor and Lokomotiv will play

A former player of Chelyabinsk's Traktor and now a forward for St. Petersburg's SKA, Ilya Karpushin, commented on the chances of the Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl players in the upcoming Gagarin Cup final.
In his long interview for the Izvestia newspaper, Ilya Karpushin said that he is very happy for the Chelyabinsk hockey players, the club and his hometown for the fact that Traktor managed to reach the Cup final. "Chelyabinsk lives for hockey, people love Traktor and always fill the stands," the forward comments. "They deserve to see the Gagarin Cup final live at home."
At the same time, Karpushin did not risk saying which team has a better chance of winning this battle of the strongest. According to the SKA forward, the final series will be difficult and interesting. Although Lokomotiv won the regular championship, Karpushin rightly notes that Chelyabinsk Traktor took second place, so it is simply impossible to name the best at the moment.
