An employee of the Abakan airport ran 21 km in Kazan in an hour and a half


Elena Tokhtobina from Abakan conquered the "Kazan Marathon". The large-scale race took place in early May in the capital of Tatarstan. 35 thousand people took part in it, including nine thousand runners in the half-marathon. Among the latter was a Siberian woman.
"Our colleague not only took part, but brilliantly covered the 21.1 kilometer distance with an excellent result - 1 hour 29 minutes 59 seconds. Elena proved that it is possible to combine professionalism in work and sporting achievements. Congratulations!" - said the press service of the Abakan International Airport named after V.G. Tikhonov.
The Kazan Marathon is a celebration of running and unity, when people of different ages and professions run along the picturesque streets of Kazan, getting charged by the atmosphere and support of spectators.
