Sochi Sambo Wrestler Wins European Championship

The European Sambo Championship has ended in Limassol, Cyprus. A Sochi sambo wrestler was among the prize winners.

According to the Sochi Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Nikolay Karasev won the medal. The graduate of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 24 became the best in the weight category over 58 kg.

It is worth noting that at the European Championship last year, the Sochi sambo wrestler came in second – then the protégé of Ruslan Antonyan and Aram Galustyan lost in the final to his Georgian opponent.

Earlier, MK in Sochi wrote that Sochi residents won two gold medals at the School Sambo League competitions.
