The Kamchatka Krai Prosecutor's Office has approved the indictments in the case of two seasonal workers who staged a bloody knife fight in the Elizovo hostel. The incident occurred in mid-May - a 29-year-old man attacked two drinking buddies without reason, stabbing one in the thigh and the other in the stomach and back.

One of the victims returned with a kitchen knife and met the attacker on the stairs, after which a violent fight ensued between them. Both received multiple stab wounds, but tragedy was avoided thanks to the intervention of bystanders who called the medics.

The 23-year-old and 29-year-old defendants do not admit guilt and demand a jury trial. They are charged with attempted murder (Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), which carries a prison sentence of up to 15 years. The cases have been transferred to the Yelizovsky District Court.

Earlier it was reported that two people died in a traffic accident in Primorye .
