Novgorod residents are being offered training in inclusive communication.

Residents of Veliky Novgorod are invited to participate in the "Communication is Easy. The Main Thing is to Start Communicating!" project from November 12th to 14th. It's dedicated to inclusive communication. The project team, comprised of people with disabilities, will use simple and accessible language to introduce participants to the specifics of communication and interaction with people with various disabilities.
The project, supported by the Presidential Grants Fund, aims to develop effective communication skills among social workers and volunteers. Participants will gain unique experience and immerse themselves in real-life communication practices.
The program includes three components: the "Darkness Module" – for developing a culture of communication with people with visual impairments; the "Silence Module" – for interacting with those with hearing problems; and the "Action Module" – for communicating with people with musculoskeletal disorders.
The project helps each participant learn important rules for communicating with people with disabilities and provides practical advice for various situations.
Following the seminar, each participant will receive an electronic certificate. Participation in the project is free, but advance registration is required, as space is limited, according to the Veliky Novgorod administration.
