World youth football tournament brings together 400 athletes from 20 countries in Portimão.
Portimão will once again be the meeting point for the world's elite youth football, hosting the 5th edition of the U14 Portimão International Cup between November 14th and 16th. The tournament brings together 35 teams from 20 countries, totaling 400 young athletes.
For three days, on the pitches of the Major David Neto Training Center and the Mexilhoeira Grande Sports Complex, the competition provides not only an environment of "high technical level," but also an experience of "cultural and sporting" exchange.
The local authority also highlights the direct impact on the local economy, through the arrival of athletes, coaches, families and fans, with more than two thousand spectators expected.
On the field will be world-renowned clubs such as Liverpool FC, Parma Calcio 1913, Everton FC, Crystal Palace FC, RC Celta de Vigo, RC Deportivo La Coruña, Derby County FC, Sporting Clube de Portugal, SL Benfica, Vitória SC, among others, as well as the hosts Portimonense Sporting Clube and Mexilhoeira Grande Futebol Clube.
Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office of the Major David Neto Training Center, costing five euros per day or 12 euros for a three-day pass. Entry is free for children up to 12 years old.
The event is organized by Portimonense Sporting Clube and the company Live Adventure, with the support of the Municipality of Portimão.
