MotoGP: Today kicks off with free practice sessions in Portimão.

Free practice sessions mark the start of the Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix today, the 21st and penultimate round of the World Motorcycle Championship, which runs until Sunday at the Algarve International Circuit (AIA) in Portimão .
The day begins with free practice for electric motorcycles. This is followed by free practice for Moto3 and Moto2, before the premier class featuring Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (Yamaha), which starts at 10:45 am.
The program repeats in the afternoon, starting at 12:35 pm, with the MotoGP pack returning to action at 3 pm.
The day concludes around 5 PM with the MotoE qualifying round, the electric motorcycle championship.
Qualifying and the MotoGP sprint race are scheduled for Saturday, with the main races taking place on Sunday.
Spaniard Marc Márquez (Ducati), already mathematically crowned champion since the Japanese GP, is absent from this round due to injury.
