Former PSD deputy abandons mission structure to speed up renewable energy licensing

According to the second order, “Hugo Daniel Alves Martins de Carvalho is hereby dismissed, at his own request, from his duties as president of the Mission Structure for the Licensing of Renewable Energy Projects 2030, for which he was appointed by my Order No. 6134/2024, of May 20, 2025, published in the Official Gazette, 2nd series, No. 105, of May 31, 2025”.

An order published in the Official Gazette dismissed, “at his request, Hugo Daniel Alves Martins de Carvalho from his duties as president of the Mission Structure for the Licensing of Renewable Energy Projects 2030 (EMER 2030)”.
The order reads that “under the provisions of paragraph 4 of Council of Ministers Resolution No. 50/2024 of 14 March, in conjunction with the provisions of paragraph i) of No. 1 of article 25 of Law No. 2/2004 of 15 January, both in their current wording, Hugo Daniel Alves Martins de Carvalho is dismissed, at his own request, from his duties as president of the Mission Structure for the Licensing of Renewable Energy Projects 2030, for which he was appointed by my Order No. 6134/2024 of 20 May 2025, published in the Diário da República, 2nd series, No. 105, of 31 May 2025”.
It should be remembered that the former PSD deputy was appointed to the position just over a year ago by the Government.
