Alert: Weather changes in São Paulo with rain, lightning and strong winds

A cold front makes the weather unstable and could cause rain showers accompanied by lightning and moderate-intensity winds between Tuesday (5) and Wednesday (6), according to the Civil Defense of the State of São Paulo.

Instabilities are expected to be most intense in the eastern part of São Paulo. The combination of rain and winds could cause occasional disruptions, especially in more vulnerable areas.

The most affected areas are Baixada Santista and the North Coast, as well as the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. So far, no significant rainfall accumulations are expected.

In the capital of São Paulo, minimum temperatures are expected to be 13°C in the early morning hours and maximum temperatures of just 18°C, according to the Climate Emergency Management Center of the City of São Paulo.
