Pete Tha Zouk and TAXI featured at Ameixial Summer Fest 2025

The event promises to bring four days of music, culture and entertainment to the heart of the Algarve countryside, from August 14th to 17th.

The Ameixialense Sports Group invites visitors of all ages to enjoy an unforgettable experience in the picturesque village of Ameixial, in the municipality of Loulé.

With concerts, sunsets with live music, a pool party at the Espelho de Água da Seiceira with DJ music, regional cuisine, crafts, inflatables, dances, traditional games, Zumba, hiking, and nighttime mountain biking, these summer festivals boast a diverse program to entertain residents and visitors.

On Thursday, August 14, the festivities kick off at night at the headquarters of Grupo Desportivo Ameixialense with Nelson Santos, in a relaxed atmosphere with music and snacks.

On Friday, August 15th, a national holiday, the day begins with the traditional annual fair, which will feature street entertainment by Al-Fanfare, a group that promises to fill the venue with rhythm and good spirits.

In the evening, activities take place on the Seiceira Stage, next to the Water Mirror, with Valter Cabrita livening up the venue at 9:30 p.m. At midnight, Fábio Lagarto takes the main stage for a concert packed with hits like "Amiga," "Abre o Coração," and "Vou lavar a loiça." In the wee hours, DJ Lady F takes over the dance floor for a performance featuring afrohouse, dance, and techno.

Saturday, August 16th, will be the most intense day of the Ameixial Summer Fest. Starting at 3:00 PM, DJ Rodrigo will liven up the pool party at Espelho de Água, followed by a mega aquatic Zumba class led by fitness instructor Carlos Cavaco Silva. There will also be a dedicated area for children at the Kids' Space, and at 6:00 PM, a guided walk titled Os Encantos do Vascão (The Enchantments of Vascão).

The sunset will be accompanied by an acoustic concert featuring the duo Sol & Lua. In the evening, Ruben Filipe will liven up the venue with popular music, setting the mood for the highlight of the party.

Next up is the highly anticipated concert by the legendary TAXI, one of the most iconic Portuguese rock bands, who will provide an unforgettable moment to the sound of classics like Chiclete and Cairo, as well as the band's new songs, on a night that will be memorable.

Afterwards, the party continues with a performance by Pete Tha Zouk, one of the most renowned DJs and producers in Brazil, internationally acclaimed for his explosive sets at festivals and clubs around the world.

On Sunday, August 17, the festivities end with an afternoon dedicated to Traditional Games, such as Jogo da Malha, providing moments of family fun and togetherness.

During the four days of the event, visitors can also explore regional crafts and products, with the presence of local producers and artisans who will showcase the best of the Algarve's inland region. There will also be plenty of gastronomic options, where you can savor delicacies and snacks from the mountains, showcasing local flavors and knowledge in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

The Ameixial Summer Fest is organized by the Grupo Desportivo Ameixialense, with the support of the Ameixial Parish Council, Loulé City Council and several local sponsors.
