In the first phase of the ATP Finals, the competition is divided into two groups, with the top two players from each group advancing to the semifinals. The final will be played on November 16.

Jimmy Connors' group includes Carlos Alcaraz, Lorenzo Musetti (replacing Novak Djokovic), Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur. Bjorn Borg's group includes Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and Felix Auger-Alliasime.
Sinner is defending the title he won last year.
A doubles tournament is also taking place at the same time.
