Marco Rubio after talks in Moscow: We heard what the conditions are for ending the war

The US Secretary of State said of the talks in Moscow, where Witkoff met with Vladimir Putin, that they were "productive." He said the US side learned previously undisclosed details regarding "ideas on how to end the war." "The president (Donald Trump) wants to end the war. So in that sense, it was productive. Now we have to continue making progress," he added.

Rubio then said that Trump would brief European leaders and the Ukrainian side on the progress of the talks. "And then, hopefully, if there's progress (in the peace process), there will be a chance for the president (Trump) to meet with both Vladimir Putin and President Zelensky soon, hopefully in the near future – but of course, a lot has to happen before that happens," he added.
