Today, the decree of the President of the Republic of Poland comes into effect. The former sanatorium is a historical monument.

Pursuant to a decree issued by the President of the Republic of Poland—signed by Andrzej Duda—the former sanatorium in Trzebiechów has been designated a historical monument. The regulations come into effect on August 7th.
The regulation of the President of the Republic of Poland, signed by Andrzej Duda, recognizing "Trzebiechów – former sanatorium" as a historical monument has been published in the Journal of Laws. The full text of the regulation:
§ 1. The "Trzebiechów - former sanatorium", located in Trzebiechów, Zielona Góra County, Lubusz Voivodeship, is recognized as a historical monument.
§2. The purpose of protecting the historical monument referred to in §1 is to preserve, due to its artistic and scientific values, the only complex of buildings in Poland with interior decoration and furnishings designed by Henry van de Velde, which constitute a spatially legible testimony to the medical process and history of treatment from the beginning of the 20th century.
§ 3. 1. The area of the "Trzebiechów – former sanatorium" historical monument includes the main sanatorium building, the administrative and office building called the "Doctor's House", a connecting building, a residential building with a porter's lodge, a carpentry workshop, a shed, garages and apartments, a pigsty (currently a workshop), a morgue, a brick fence with an entrance gate and the sanatorium park, located within the boundaries of cadastral plot no. 127/1.
2. The map of the historical monument "Trzebiechów – former sanatorium" is an annex to the regulation.
§4. The regulation enters into force on the day following the date of its publication.
