Poles stirred trust. Sikorski overtook Nawrocki, Trzaskowski pushed Duda

Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, President-elect Karol Nawrocki and Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski found themselves on the podium in the trust survey conducted by IBRiS on behalf of Onet. Fourth place went to outgoing President Andrzej Duda, and fifth to Confederation politician Sławomir Mentzen.
The ranking was headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs , Radosław Sikorski, who is trusted by 43.2% of Poles (20.2% definitely trust him, 23% rather trust him). 38.3% have a negative opinion of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (31.7% definitely do not trust him, 6.6% chose the option "rather do not trust him"). 15.9% of respondents have a neutral approach.
In second place was the president-elect Karol Nawrocki with a result of 41.9 percent (22.7 percent trust him definitely, 19.2 percent rather trust him). The lack of trust in the future head of state was declared by 46.3 percent of respondents (33.9 percent definitely do not trust him, 12.4 percent rather do not trust him). 11.4 percent chose the option "I am indifferent".
The podium is closed by the mayor of Warsaw , Rafał Trzaskowski, who noted another drop compared to the previous survey. Trust in the mayor of Warsaw is declared by 41.7% of respondents (21.9% definitely trust him. The answer "I rather trust him" was indicated by 19.8%). Trzaskowski is not trusted by 44.4% of respondents (33.8% chose the option "definitely", 10.6% "rather"). Neutral attitude is maintained by 13.9%.
Fourth place was taken by the outgoing president Andrzej Duda , who was trusted by 40.2% of respondents (19.7% declared strong trust, 20.5% "rather trust"). Lack of trust was declared by 43.4% - the answer "I definitely do not trust" was chosen by 29%, "I rather do not trust" - 14.4%. The president, who is outgoing after two terms, is "indifferent" to 16.4% of Poles.
Fifth place went to Confederation politician Sławomir Mentzen, who can boast the trust of 38.5 percent of Poles (the option "I definitely trust" was indicated by 12.6 percent, "I rather trust" by 25.9 percent).
Outside the "top five" remains Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is trusted by 35.4% of respondents. In turn, as many as 52.3% of Polish women and men say they lack trust.
Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki came in eighth place. The PiS politician is trusted by 35.1 percent of respondents. A lack of trust in the PiS politician is declared by 55.4 percent of respondents.
In ninth place was the politician of the Left Magdalena Biejat, who gained the trust of 31.6 percent of respondents. 45.1 percent of Poles have doubts about her credibility.
The top ten is closed by another leader of the ruling coalition, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He enjoys the trust of 30.6 percent of respondents. The head of the Ministry of National Defense is distrusted by 46 percent of respondents.
PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński came 12th in the latest ranking. He is trusted by 30.4% of respondents, while 58.6% do not trust him.
The survey was conducted by the Institute for Market and Social Research IBRiS on 23-24 June on a nationwide sample of 1.1 thousand people. The survey was conducted by telephone, using standardized computer-assisted interviews (CATI). (PAP)
