Oil prices rose in anticipation of Trump's decision

There is a belief that this will affect Russian energy exports. Bloomberg notes that one of the sanctions bills with broad support in the US Senate envisages imposing a 500% tariff on China and India for purchasing Russian oil.
The price of oil also rose on reports that OPEC+ is in talks to halt further production increases from October.
Brent crude oil rose for the fourth session in the last five on Friday. At the close of trading on ICE Futures Europe, the price of a barrel of the leading September contract rose 2.5% to $70.36. This is the highest price since June 23. For the week, Brent crude oil prices rose 3.0%.
On the U.S. NYMEX, the price of WTI crude oil, the leading August contract, rose 2.8 percent to $68.45. Over the week, the price per barrel rose 2.2 percent.
