Fire at Racławicka metro station. M1 line is not running

The fire brigade is extinguishing a fire at the Racławicka metro station. The situation is under control - Senior Captain Wojciech Kapczyński from the press team of the City Commander of the State Fire Service in Warsaw told PAP on Tuesday. The M1 metro line is not running. Alternative transport has been introduced. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The fire department received information about smoke at the Racławicka metro station after midnight. "Very strong, dense smoke was coming from one of the technical rooms," Kapczyński said.
He said the fire had already been located and was not spreading. It was currently being extinguished. "At its peak, 11 firefighting teams were working on the scene," he added.

As a result of the incident, metro line M1 is not running. Temporary replacement transport has been introduced in its place.

Konstytucji – Waryńskiego – Batorego – Al. Niepodległości – Al. Wilanowska – Metro Wilanowska – Rolna – Harcerzy Rzeczypospolitej – Al. KEN – Os.Kabaty 06.
