"In recent years, we have observed a disturbing phenomenon of experienced employees leaving state institutions, resulting in a growing number of vacancies. Currently, one-third of public offices are unable to fulfill their duties due to vacancies, which translates into a decline in the quality of services provided to citizens, " notes Piotr Szumlewicz. "This direction of change has serious consequences for the functioning of the state and the well-being of society."
Trade unionists therefore expect the government to take decisive steps to stop these negative trends and to truly improve the situation of public sector and local government employees.
