A second swimming pool will be built in Fredropol!

The “Sporty Poland” program – Local sports infrastructure development program” is an initiative of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, which supports the implementation of investments in sports facilities throughout the country. Funding can be provided to publicly accessible facilities that enable mass sports activities within school and non-school sports infrastructure, as well as investments aimed at improving training conditions for athletes. As we have already mentioned, the highest funding from all of those submitted from all over Poland – in the amount of PLN 10 million – was awarded to the Fredropol commune for the construction of an indoor swimming pool of the “Delfinek” type at the local primary school. The money will be transferred to the commune in 2026, and the construction of the facility will begin that year.

The second positively considered application from our region is the one submitted by the District Office in Jarosław for the reconstruction of the multi-purpose sports field and long jump hill at the August Witkowski Complex of Road, Surveying and Secondary Schools in Jarosław. The total amount of funding is PLN 767,500, of which PLN 200,000 will be received by the district in 2026, PLN 567,500 in 2027...
