MEXICO CITY.— This Thursday, the Mexican currency in international markets opens the day around 18.73 pesos per dollar , which means an appreciation of 0.2% or 4 cents compared to the previous day, according to information from Bloomberg .
This Thursday, the Mexican peso was affected by the weak fixed investment report in Mexico. In the overnight session , the exchange rate showed downward volatility. This came as traders remained cautious ahead of the release of the key US labor market report, in addition to the vote on the fiscal package in the US Congress, commented Monex specialists.
This Thursday, July 3, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 18.6500 pesos per dollar .
According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 19.8413 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 18.70 pesos at Grupo Financiero Multiva counters.
