'Living heritage' in popular rituals and traditions

Make a contribution to the promotion and research in the field of cultural heritage intangible: this is the aim of 'The living heritage' in program at Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento on November 15th, a day of in-depth discussions with national and local experts on the subject of intangible cultural heritage. The foundation thus starts "an action of cultural dissemination in theme of intangible cultural heritage aimed at the general public public - it is explained in a note - action that finds its raison d'être in the idea that creating awareness and knowledge on these issues is the basis for ensuring their protection and survival". It offers "a new look at the heritage intangible cultural, analyzing it as a phenomenon linked not only to the sphere of traditions but placing it in the spectrum actions of fundamental importance for the creation of community, a specificity that will be explored in his meanings and its positive impacts on the territories, in social, cultural and touristic terms". With the day "we wanted to propose to our fellow citizens a high-level event - explains Monica Viola, president Trentino Pro Loco Federation and vice president of the Pro Loco Foundation Loco Italia - which allows experts but also the curious and the many volunteers from our Pro Loco to acquire awareness of this little-known aspect of our world.
