Summer Preview: 760 Artisans from 50 Countries Around the World in Rho

A new showcase of the mastery and creativity of Italian and world craftsmanship in a light and fresh guise. Artigiano in fiera, the traditional event held just before the Christmas holidays, launches “Anteprima d'estate” a format that will see the presence of 760 artisans from 50 countries around the world , together to celebrate the beautiful season. The event will be held from May 29th to June 2nd , every day from 10am to 10:30pm, and has officially begun the countdown with the possibility of downloading the free pass on artigianoinfiera.it .
In a lively and fresh atmosphere, accompanied by events dedicated to cultures and traditions from around the world and spaces created for relaxation and conviviality, you can explore artisanal creations from Italy and the world with a particular focus on the warm season: light clothing, nature-inspired jewelry, outdoor furnishings, leisure accessories and products for living well, without forgetting food and wine specialties. “Anteprima d'estate” comments Antonio Intiglietta, president of Ge.Fi. Gestione Fiere Spa , “is born from the desire to offer a new perspective on craftsmanship. Starting from the consolidated experience of Artigiano in fiera, with this new format we intend to further celebrate the creativity of artisans and their ability to create unique products, inspired by summer and its convivial atmosphere”.
Among the proposals of the event there will also be a journey through the flavors of Italy and the world , distributed in 6 large squares, where between dances and shows linked to the territories, the Italian street food will meet the European and Asian, Iranian and Eritrean cuisine and many others. It goes from the Spanish, Argentine and Tex-Mex grill to the hand-beaten tropical ice creams and exotic fruit smoothies. Numerous foreign collectives are also expected, from the Algerian artisans coordinated by the Cnam (Chambre nationale de l'artisanat et des métiers), sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts of Algeria to the Ethiopians of the project Ethiopia from producer to artisan entrepreneur , organized by Unido in collaboration with the Fondazione artigiano in fiera ets , which aims to develop and raise awareness of micro and small businesses, mostly led by women and which employ other women. And again, the French delegation led by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Marseille , the Tunisian one with Fena (Fédération nationale de l'artisanat), those from India , Morocco , Cuba , Colombia and Uzbekistan . And the Talaka Association which brings together Belarusians living in Italy.
