Revenue Agency, “'We give away' 300,000 euros to those who pay taxes”: the very first ADE Bonus introduced

The Revenue Agency introduces the ADE Bonus for the first time, offering €300,000 to those who pay taxes.
It may seem like an advertising slogan to some, but today those who pay taxes must be rewarded. This is simply done to discourage the tendency towards tax evasion that continues to create a real rupture in the Italian economic fabric.
What better reward than to give extra money or rather, significant sums of money to those who actually manage to keep their contribution commitment?
Here then, a good €300 thousand is granted to those who provide for their payments, a bonus that is already causing widespread talk.
So let's see what there is to know about it.
Pay now to avoid further damageThe bonus in question is specifically granted to be able to deal with something specific that few people think about. When it comes to the Revenue Agency, the fear is certainly not that of receiving money, but rather of having to pay out a certain amount of money. So knowing that you can have an economic benefit in some way is really much more decisive than you might think.
Imagine you are a company and you receive a tax assessment notice from the Revenue Agency. Typically the accusations may concern invoices deemed false or undeclared revenues; in this case the Tax Office is able to immediately impose a payment of 200,000 euros of unpaid taxes, 50,000 euros of administrative penalties, 2 0,000 euros of accrued interest . In total, what you get is 270 thousand euros. At this point, the company is faced with a double choice: either challenge everything and risk the initiation of precautionary procedures such as: seizures, foreclosures or blocked credits, or pay immediately as a precaution and then start a legal appeal. There are numerous cases in which the second choice could be the best.

In short, what is called Bonus is not exactly the economic measure that we all know. In fact, if the taxpayer, in this case the company, wins the appeal against the assessment of the Revenue Agency, in this specific case the entire amount paid is recovered (270,000 euros), but legal interests are also received on the money paid, in addition to any legal costs that were incurred during the procedure.
This is why the refund can reach up to 300,000 euros. A situation that initially seems disadvantageous ends up being a real prize for the citizens who are involved in this situation. So not a prize, but a refund to those who pay unfairly.
