Everyone in line this morning, May 9, 2025, at Merlata Bloom Milano for the inauguration of the first HalfPrice store in Italy . The national debut of the Polish chain, which offers fashion items, accessories and home products at affordable prices , marks a new chapter in the Milanese shopping scene. The new store , located on the first floor of the West area of the shopping center and positioned under the scenic glass dome, extends over 5,000 square meters and is a new destination for those looking for international brands at lighter costs. HalfPrice also offers a selection of unique brands from all over the world, many of which until now unavailable to Italian consumers.
Revenues on the riseBorn in Poland in 2021, HalfPrice is the latest creation of the CCC group , a retail giant listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange , which in the November 2024-January 2025 quarter alone recorded revenues of 676 million euros, up 14% compared to the same period of the previous year. Today the brand has over 150 stores in 14 European countries and is firmly targeting the Italian market. Italy represents the fourteenth market for the off-price brand, already active in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Spain. The opening in Milan , developed in collaboration with Nhood Services Italy , as a first step is not a coincidence: "Introducing HalfPrice to Merlata Bloom Milano is a strategic decision to affirm the center as a point of reference for the city lifestyle", underlined Anand Remtolla , chief commercial officer of Nhood Services Italy.
Designer clothes at off-price prices
The business model is clear: high quality at off-price prices . In store you can find clothes and accessories from many brands such as Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Pinko, Valentino, Prada, Moschino, Chloé, Reebok, Fila and Nike , with discounts compared to the original price tag. The offer ranges from clothing to home decor, up to pet products. A selection designed to attract a transversal audience that pays attention to the quality-price ratio. “With over 200 categories of products on offer , I am sure that everyone will find something special that expresses their style,” said Malwina Winter, chief operating officer of HalfPrice.
A format already appreciated in EuropeThe HalfPrice brand has recently opened a store in Spain , inside the Oasiz Madrid shopping center . The Spanish store covers an area of over 4,500 square meters. The opening in Madrid follows the recent inaugurations in Zaragoza and Sofia , confirming an expansion strategy that looks to the major European shopping capitals.
