Civigames: a challenge to learn

“Civigames” was held at Civiform , the educational-recreational event organized by the Trieste Professional Training Center , which involved over 130 students from 7 lower secondary schools in the area. On Europe Day, which marks the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, the students faced off in a series of challenges on concentration, precision and commitment on the theme of participation, cooperation and personal growth.

At the Opicina headquarters of Civiform, the participants, divided into teams, tested themselves in the cooking, pastry, mechanics and graphics laboratories and in educational game-sport experiences such as Cornhole, Kahoot but also ping pong and darts. The 1G of the Istituto comprensivo Divisione Julia won in a very entertaining final.

The event was promoted by Civiform with the contribution of the Municipality of Trieste and the support of the Department of Education and Family Policies, represented by Councilor Maurizio Di Blasio . “A great opportunity for many young people and children to experiment with the innovative educational model already used by Civiform students, where through direct experience they can acquire fundamental skills for the community such as the ability to work in a team, active participation and listening” declared the general director of Civiform Chiara Franceschini . “In addition to having fun, the students were able to live a stimulating experience and learn many new things” commented with satisfaction the educational coordinator Davide Carboni, supported by teachers and tutors.
