Beaten in Bayonne (18-10), the RCT will challenge Castres in a play-off match at the Mayol stadium in Toulon

Guaranteed to retain their third place regardless of their result in Bayonne, Toulon failed to take home a single point from their trip to the Basque Country.
The fault lies in a glaring lack of efficiency in their strong moments, both in the first and second half where only Matteo Le Corvec managed to cross the try line in the 78th minute of play. However, Pierre Mignoni's men had possession of the ball after the break, but without managing to score, which will inevitably be an area to work on this week in view of the play-off match which awaits them on Saturday evening at Mayol.
Based on the various results of this final day of Top 14, it was Castres Olympique who finished 6th in the regular phase after their defeat at Stade Français (21-10). It is therefore Babillot's teammates who will come to challenge RCT at 9 p.m. next Saturday.
Note that the other play-off match will pit Bayonne against Clermont. The Auvergne team managed to win in Montpellier, while the Rochelais team lost late in the match to Pau (32-18), which eliminated them from the competition!
