The party turned violent and left one person dead. Around thirty people gathered in the town centre of Saint-André-de-Cubzac for a birthday party on the night of Friday 1st to Saturday 2nd August. However, according to information from Sud-Ouest and France Bleu , a neighbour asked the partygoers to keep their noise down around 4am. The man reportedly explained that children were sleeping nearby.
An argument then broke out between the man and the drunken individuals. The exchange led to a violent fight. The neighbor, who was in his thirties, was stabbed several times before collapsing. He succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning, despite emergency services' efforts to revive him. […]
