RER, metro, Transilien… Several lines under construction on the Paris region network this week, disruptions to be expected

Like every summer, the Paris region's transport network is taking advantage of the holidays to carry out numerous works on its lines. A year after the Olympic Games , which prevented a large number of construction sites from starting, the RATP is doubling down.
While the network has already been subject to several major closures since the beginning of July, the first full week of August is expected to be one of the most disrupted.
Starting this Monday, August 4th at 10:45 p.m., Line 9 will be completely closed until Friday, August 8th inclusive. The reason: improvements to the train control system. A replacement bus will run between Montreuil Town Hall and Nation, with a service every 5 to 14 minutes.
Line 14 is also completely closed for five days, until this Friday. A replacement shuttle will run between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades.
Some of the metro line closures have already been underway for several days. On line 12 , traffic has been interrupted between Montparnasse-Bienvenüe and Mairie d'Issy stations since July 28. This section will remain closed until Thursday, August 7, to adapt the infrastructure for the arrival of the new MF19 metro .
Two metro stations on line 13 are also closed until August 31: Gabriel Péri and Pernety. On line 6 , Cambronne station, closed since June 30, will remain inaccessible until September 28.
On the RER side, the RER B line has been experiencing several interruptions. Already interrupted since July 15 and until August 27 between La Croix de Berny and Massy-Palaiseau, traffic has also been stopped for several days north of the line.
From August 1st to August 22nd, traffic is interrupted from 10:45 p.m. between Denfert-Rochereau and Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV Airport or Mitry-Claye, Monday to Friday. August 13th and 15th are an exception, with no disruptions expected on this section.
The RER C is experiencing numerous disruptions along its line, particularly in the evening. Further work is planned for the daytime, which could completely close the line, for example between Gare d'Austerlitz and the Pontoise/Versailles Château Rive Gauche/Saint-Quentin en Yvelines section until August 23.
Traffic stoppages are planned on several sections of the RER D during August, but only in the evening and at night, particularly between Creil and Châtelet Les Halles and between Villeneuve-Saint-Georges and Corbeil-Essonnes. The same applies to the RER E.
Finally, the Transilien also experienced disruptions during the summer. Starting this Monday, August 4, the N line will be interrupted between Paris Montparnasse and Rambouillet , Dreux, Mantes-la-Jolie and Plaisir-Grignon in the evening. Rail network works are scheduled until August 29.
Line R is also partially interrupted in the evening, between Gare de Lyon and Montereau as well as Montargis, until August 14. The same applies to line P , which is subject to night-time interruptions during the week until August 17, particularly towards Provins.
Other major closures are coming in August, including a traffic stoppage between La Défense and Charles de Gaulle-Étoile on line 1 from August 11 to 31, as well as the interruption of traffic between Concorde and Reuilly-Diderot on line 8 from August 18 to 31.
Work is also planned on the RER A , for example between Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Le Vésinet – Le Pecq from August 9, and the RER B is subject to further, more occasional disruptions until September. As for the RER C , major summer works will stop traffic on new large sections from July 15.
