Gunshots rang out on Avenue Clément-Bel in Vallauris on Saturday, August 30, around 11 p.m.

An individual, aged around forty, was shot and taken to hospital in serious condition .

The perpetrator(s) of the shooting are currently being sought by the police and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
