Paris: Two Tunisians arrested as they got off a train at Gare de Lyon. One of them had 10 million euros worth of jewelry in his underwear.

A routine check. Ten million euros in market value hidden... in a pair of underwear, and an angle grinder in a suitcase. Two Tunisians, one of them a minor, were arrested as they got off the train on Saturday, August 30, at the Gare de Lyon (Paris 12th arrondissement), Le Parisien learned from concordant sources. These two Tunisians—one a minor—are unfavorably known to the police.
It was around 11 a.m. on Saturday when police officers on patrol at the Gare de Lyon decided to check on two men as they got off a TGV train from the capital of the Gauls. And the officers had a nose for it. One of them had hidden a sock weighted with numerous pieces of fine jewelry and a Rolex in his underpants. They also had a grinder in their suitcase.
The loot included a necklace worth an estimated €5 million, earrings worth over €2 million, a ring worth €1 million, and more. A luxury watch and other jewelry were also stolen. This represents a loss of €10 million, an initial estimate that the investigation will have to confirm or reassess.
