Armani suit hawker fined in Mandelieu

A few weeks ago, after shopping at the Auchan store in Mandelieu-la-Napoule , a man was approached by an individual, who appeared to be of Italian origin, in the supermarket parking lot.

The latter opens the trunk of his SUV… which is filled to the brim with bags of Giorgio Armani designer suits , and offers him one, or two, directly from his car.

Arrested and fined

The man, who thought he was dealing with counterfeit products, told the seller to get lost and called the police directly.

The seller was arrested shortly after by the gendarmerie, supported by the municipal police, and fined, not for selling counterfeit goods, but because the entrepreneur, who was in fact in possession of real leather goods , did not have authorization to sell in the area!
