The driver of a car allegedly "deliberately" hit a group of people on the night of Friday to Saturday in the town centre of Evreux, leaving one dead and five injured, two of whom are in critical condition .
After an altercation in a bar at around 4 a.m., " a person allegedly went to get a vehicle (...) and deliberately reversed at high speed into the crowd outside the establishment ," said Rémi Coutin, public prosecutor of Evreux.
