How to get a green card? These are the options to speed up the process and obtain residency in the United States.

Obtaining permanent residency in the United States is the goal of many migrants, and it can be achieved through the Green Card , the document that grants the right to live and work legally in the country indefinitely.
In response, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has published a series of recommendations and the different cases in which they can be applied.

The Immigration Service has a total of six categories through which migrants can apply for a Green Card and thus remain in the United States permanently, with improved social and economic benefits.
1. Family ties Under this option, citizens will be able to choose from a total of five categories in which foreigners can apply for permanent residency.
These include immediate relative status, preference category status, fiancé(e), widow(er), and self-petition status . These individuals must submit an application to USCIS to sponsor their relatives.
2. Employability In this category, applicants can apply for a total of three options related to first-, second-, and third-category immigrant work, depending on their skill level.
Additionally, cases of medical professionals with national interest and individuals who make investments within the United States are included.

Citizens may be eligible if they belong to any of the following groups: religious workers, young migrants, people with Afghan or Iranian nationality, representatives of international media, and employees of NATO organizations.
4. Refugees Under this option, individuals have a limited period of time during which they will be granted temporary residence for one year, under the conditions of qualifying as an asylum seeker or refugee.
5. Victims There are two situations that qualify you for a permanent visa in the country. The first is being a victim of human trafficking , and the second includes those who have been affected by crimes related to this type of case.

In these options, U.S. authorities clarify that there are eleven specific options through which interested foreigners can apply for a permanent visa to reside in the United States.
- 'Released Refugee Migration Equity Act'.
- 'Diversity visa programs'.
- 'Cuban Adjustment Act'.
- 'Spouse and child victim of abuse or extreme cruelty.'
- 'Dependents under the Haitian Refugee Immigration Act.'
- 'Spouse, son/daughter or daughter victim of abuse'.
- 'Lautenberg Immigrant Persecution'.
- 'Indochinese Entry Permit Adjustment Act of 2000'.
- 'American Indian born in Canada.'
- 'Persons born in the United States who are children of a foreign diplomat.'
- 'Section 12 with diplomats'.
