Haßelmann criticizes possible increase in the price of the Deutschlandticket

Berlin – Green Party parliamentary group leader Britta Haßelmann opposes a possible price increase for the Deutschlandticket to 62 or 64 euros. The increase "harms the ticket," Haßelmann told broadcasters RTL and ntv. "Because those who use this ticket, and that's an increasing number of people – over 13 million – need reliability in their everyday lives in exchange for us offering an affordable ticket." Instead, the Green Party politician is calling for a price reduction for the currently 58-euro ticket. "A 49-euro Deutschlandticket is a success story; we should continue it and find a solution for it between the federal and state governments," Haßelmann said.

Epic gold price rally
The price of gold has surpassed a new record high. The $3,500 mark has fallen, and even $4,000 now appears only an interim target. The rally is being driven by several factors simultaneously:
- · massive purchases by central banks
- Capital flight to safe havens
- · high demand for physically backed gold ETFs
- · geopolitical uncertainty and inflation concerns
