From crypto webshop to billion-dollar player: Bitpanda is one of Europe's biggest fintech success stories. Founded in Vienna in 2014, the platform now offers investments in crypto, stocks, ETFs and precious metals – and boasts six million users, according to its own figures.

Following a valuation of €3.6 billion in 2021, Bitpanda underwent a leadership change: founder Eric Demuth stepped down as CEO and became Executive Chairman. and President of the Board of Directors of the holding company, Bitpanda Group AG. Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, who became Co-CEO in August 2025, will now assume this role alone.
