Tesla Grünheide increases production plan

"(We) are looking at how the market is developing and continue to see positive signals for all the markets we supply," said the plant manager of the Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. "Of course, this extends far beyond Germany. We supply well over 30 markets and definitely see a positive trend there."
Sales decline in GermanyThe German market remains challenging for the automaker. While significantly more electric vehicles were registered in Germany in August compared to the same month last year, sales of Tesla vehicles declined, according to the Federal Motor Transport Authority. Around 1,400 new Tesla vehicles were registered, almost 40 percent fewer than in the same month last year. In addition, Chinese competitors are increasingly gaining a foothold in Germany with electric models.
