Qatar Airways Agrees Record-Breaking Boeing Order

Qatar Airways has ordered up to 210 Boeing twin-aisle aircraft in a deal announced by the White House as part of President Donald Trump’s tour of the Middle East.

In a statement published Wednesday, the White House said the order is for Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X widebody aircraft. The planes will use engines produced by U.S. firm, GE Aerospace.

The terms of the agreement were not immediately available, including a breakdown of firm orders versus options.
